If you are a regular vistor here you will know I have a slight addiction to different pencils, pens, inks, paints etc. That I use to colour my images with, well today is a first....I have coloured my image today using my new Spectrum Noir pencils. Just a quick update on Nico, he went to the vets last night for his post-op check & everything is wonderful, thankfully no need to go back, unless there's a problem. Yay as far as I can see he hasn't even touched it, don't think he can actually get to it cus he's so fat! lol!

Anyhoos back to my DT card for Try Stampin'. I decided to use both the sketch & theme this week, it was really hard not using a stamped image but I managed it. Not sure I like it though, doesn't look anywhere near as good as it did in my head lol!!

Smexy Lady!

Not sure where my head is this week, worried about Nico having his love plums sorted on Friday no doubt lol! The things we put ourselves through for our animals. Not that I would have it any other way....he is doing really great the only reason I'm having him done is....when it comes to mating season next feb-may he will get nasty & all hormonal. So as I'm not breeding from him, it made sense to get him done as soon as possible....so Friday at 9:30 we are taking him to be done!

Anyhoos I'm here to show you my DT creation for The Stamping Chef. As always the theme is...

ANYTHING GOES!

you don't need to use a Stamping Chef image, but if you do, you double your chances of winning!

If your a regular you will know both me & Nige forgot our 16th wedding anniversary earlier in the month..oops! So I decided to make him a card for the 23rd of this month, which will be 19 years since he first kissed me lol! The silly things we remember!!

Adding A Bit of Texture!

This week has been a funny one so far. Getting used to the girlies time tables at college is gonna take a while lol & having Nige home Tuesday & yesterday was fabulous.
He ended up spending his two days off building me an outdoor enclosure for Nico to play, dig & sunbathe in. Will be great just to be able to pop him outside, Nige has also managed to put an electric hookup in the shed, so I can go outside with my laptop & watch films whilst Nico plays.

Anyhoos the real reason I'm here isn't to rabbit on about that, it's to show you my latest creation for Moving Along With The Times. Where this week we want to see some

TEXTURE

added to your creation.
Ok so when I saw this theme I just drew a blank, as I don't own any of that paste stuff or frantage stuff. But then I had a 'oh you silly mare' moment....embossing adds texture, so that's what I did!

Oops see I did have the post ready for yesterday afternoon, but I was in such a rush to go out & take Nico for a walk I didn't press publish lol such a numpty....

So sorry my post is a few hours late, we are trying to sort out a fenced off area outside for Nico. As we live in a terrace & only have a small slabbed yard, Nige was scrubbing it with bleach whist I nipped out & got some bark to put down. Now just need Nige to make a gate of some sort & some sort of covering so the damn cats can't get in & poop in there. Oh & to keep Charlie dawg out & Nico in of course lol!

Anyhoos, the reason I'm here on this Saturday morning is to post my creation for My Time to Craft. We have gone back to weekly, so if your joining us this week don't forget!

Happy Birthday to Ya!

I just want to apologise to all  those who I regularly visit....my M.E has been an absolute toe rag this last few weeks, with me crafting in between sleeping. I've been sleeping on average 18-20 hours a day, so crafting has been done in between eating & sleeping lol! Hopefully this will go away really soon, as I am fed up of not being able to play much with Nico or see Nige & the girlies for very long! Nige did drag me out of the house on Saturday as we has promised to help with a bird of prey show. Don't really remember much of it lol I walked around in a daze. Sunday we managed a trip in to Wales to Lake Vwerny I slept all the way there, had a walk, fell asleep as soon as we got in the car again & after we had had burgers cooked by Nige I got back in the car & fell asleep while they went off wondering lol!! Then I slept all the way home as well, don't remember getting in to bed! Lol good job Nige is patient with me lol!

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Inky Impressions, where this week we have a sketch for you to follow. Please click here or scroll down to the end of my post to see the sketch.

Don't forget you don't need to use an Inky image to enter!

Back to School, or in Katie's Case College!

Today's creation is for a new image release over at Inky Impressions. All images are 'Back to School' related & are fabulous! Make sure you pop over & see all images & sentiments in the new release, the DT have made some awesome things using them!
I decided t make our Katie Kat a card for when she starts college next week. I know she is really scared & worried about it, as there's not many of her school friends going to the same college & I don't think there's anyone in her classes she knows. So I thought this might make her smile. I also used one of the sentiment to make a tag, now all I'v got to do is buy something for her lol....I made our Danni a card a few weeks back, just need to buy her something as well then all sorted for next week!

If you pop over here & leave a comment about our new release you might win one of our new release images!!
